When fire fighters are exposed to extreme radiant heat situations such as in airport, military or industrial applications, aluminized turnout gear and accessories provide protection not available with conventional structural fire garments. Veridian aluminized outer shell fabrics reflect 90% of radiant heat away from the fire fighter while efficient inner liner systems maintain conductive heat and moisture barrier protection. UL certified to NFPA standard 1976, 2000: FAA and U.S. Coast Guard compliant.

Multi-piece panel construction: Superior form, fit and function. No-rivet construction: Reduces hot spots and fabric tears. Triple Nomex®-stitched stress areas: Adds durability and extends garment life. Collar: Stand-up, multi-piece insulted full closure protection. Throat tab: Overlapping insulated protection allows full interface with SCBA styles. Shoulder: Roomy design enhances range of motion while virtually eliminating underarm tears and reducing coat rise. Inner facings: Serge-stitched 2.75" (7.cm; outer shell/moisture barrier combination adds tailored quality and structure for secure liner attachment and shape retention.

Coat wristlets: 4" (10.2 cm) Nomex/Spandex-extra long for extended wrist protection. Sta-Dri™ water well inner cuff: Extra deep with inner liner thermal and moisture barrier protection. Inner liner: Full length, removable inner thermal and moisture barrier assembly edge bound for shape retention after cleaning. Metal components: All are non-sparking, non-conductive, corrosion resistant. Use is minimized to reduce heat transmission. Pant construction: Four-piece panel construction with reinforcing 2.75" (7cm) waist banding facing. Generous seat design and triple-stitched primary seams provide added strength and comfort. Pant closure: FR Hook and Loop inner fly closure for thermal/moisture protection. Outer overlapping, insulted front-fly with snap-hook and dee attachment. Cuffs: Coat and pant cuff-ends reinforced with 2"FR chrome leather cowhide. Sleeve design: Two-piece design with built-in gusset and contour elbow. Two styles available:

Vector Traditional Style: Standard coat Length: 35 inches (88.9cm), 40" and 45" options. Closure System: (0.4) non-sparking snap-hook and dee ring closure. Inner Closure System: 1.5" (3.81cm) FR Velcro-type hook and loop. Outer pockets: Two 10" x 10" (25.4 x 25.4 cm) patch-style with wide oversized flap closure and bar-tack reinforced mitered corner drains to eliminate material-tearing rivets and eyelets. Standard waist height pants: Reinforced waist-band inner facing of non-aluminized Pbi/Kelvar and moisture barrier. Suspender buttons: Leather reinforced non-sparking brass.
