EGRESS-N Kits
A
non-aramid version of our popular EGRESS Kits. Assembled using
ourEGRESS-N Nylon/Polyester NFPA Personal Escape Rope, Nylon
Escape pouch, AutoLocking Rigging Carabiners, and RescueTECH
ESCAPE Descender. To use, simply open outer pouch, grasp the
AutolockingRigging Carabiner, and pull from bag. The 8mm EGRESS-N
Personal Escape Rope (NFPA) makes this PER an economical choice over
the fire-resistant EGRESS. Manufactured of Nylon and Polyester,
this certified cord works well with most Escape Descenders.

Warning: EGRESS-Nylon
is not fire or heat-proof. Polyester begins tolose strength at 300
degree Fahrenheit. Small diameter cords do not provide the sameamount
of rappelling friction as do larger ropes. Rescuers shouldpractice
rappelling with an 8mm cord to become familiar with the 8mmdiameter
lines. NFPA 1983 states that Personal Escape Ropes are forsingle use
only.
