PMI Classic Static EZ Bend Rope - 10mm(25/64")
Preferred by experienced professionals, PMI 10 mm is the ultimate choice for single person rope work. This rope has nearly the same amount of core and strength of the 11 mm Classic, but a 17 percent thinner sheath to get the smaller diameter and better hand for Rope Access, long ascents and descents.
Static ropes, according to U.S. Cordage Institute Standards, should
offer less than 6% stretch at 10% of their minimum breaking strength.
PMI offers both nylon and polyester static ropes, to meet your every
need. Note that polyester, in general, offers less force absorption than
nylon and can make a sheath feel more 'slippery' in use.
